1 John 5:11-12 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Acts 16:31 They replied "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved – you and your household..

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ died for sins once and for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.  He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit.

John 14:6  I am the Way, and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

2 Cor.5:21 God made Him who had no sin, to be sin for us so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

When we trust in Christ we make an exchange – our sin for His righteousness. Our sin was poured into Christ at His crucifixion.
